First Con booked and more...

I booked my first table of the year! After two total failures at the back end of last year, I’m opting to steer clear of a certain organiser. The thing is, if there are no celebrity guests visiting then the people visiting aren’t going to stay for more than two laps of the stalls. It just felt like a market stall where handmade by small business type stall won’t do well. So this year, my first event will be with Creed Conventions, Comic-Con Southampton at Places Leisure Eastleigh on 27th April 2024. It looks like there’s going to be lots to do there to attract folk, not just stalls.
Also, due to price cuts, I have added mousepads to my store. I am still working on designing new things, but if they all look the same it’ll be boring, right? I’m working on a monotone project for LGBTQ+ subtypes. It’s tongue-in-cheek, I really don’t want to offend anyone, but for those parties who have a weird sense of humour, or want to claim back phrases as their own, this collection is going to be right up your street. I am close to the end of the project, so expect additions in the next couple of weeks.
So yes, exciting times ahead. If anyone has anything they’d like to see that I’ve overlooked, I’m happy to take requests or suggestions. I’ve got a list book, that I’m trying to work through for other projects that I’m hoping you’ll enjoy.
Back to the first con of the year, I’ll be doing a clear out of my old prints £2 each or 3 for £5 for A5, and £5 each for A4 prints. I’m starting to be less optimistic for merch to show in Southampton, but I haven’t given up yet. I’ll stop short of soliciting and criminal activity to try and bring something new. For now, I’m out. I’ll be back with more news as it happens.
Boil the kettle y’all
Justin
